Having previously held roles as in-house corporate counsel and Director of Legal Affairs, Monica appreciates the legal and business challenges facing today’s small and mid-sized companies. She advises clients on various issues and opportunities, involving, but not limited to, compliance, demands, dispute resolution, general employment, strategic plan development, and contract drafting, review, negotiation, and management. Monica also assists clients in creating and maintaining a suite of up-to-date, effective business documents and policies, including NDAs, customer contracts, employee agreements, and more. Whether providing additional bench strength to existing in-house legal departments or serving as outside general counsel for clients without internal legal teams, Monica is a valued partner for owners and management teams alike. Importantly, Monica provides practical, strategic advice at a cost appropriate to the size and complexity of her clients’ needs.

Monica’s experience also includes substantial litigation, mediation, and appellate experience, including complex divorce and custody matters, appellate, prenuptial agreements, construction, and more. Monica prioritizes client relationships and enjoys guiding her clients through life’s legal issues, ranging from typical to complex, personal to business.

Monica dedicates time to numerous professional, community, and non-profit organizations including Oklahoma Board of Bar Examiners, Oklahoma City Latino Young Professionals Association, and StitchCrew Inc.
